What has prompted human beings through the ages to assign sacred qualities to certain natural landscapes, buildings, and even the concept of a ‘soul’?

This course will explore the power of sacred sites by considering examples of sacred land, sacred architecture and the sacred space in the heart – the place of the soul’s journey to enlightenment. These three sacred spaces often weave together in a web. For example, in Southern England there is an energetic grid that connects three sacred sites: Glastonbury, Stonehenge and Avebury. This subtle energy pattern, when reactivated, aids in healing the world and promoting spiritual growth.
